Welcome to the Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort! We’re excited to have you as our guest and look forward to making your stay unforgettable. To help you prepare for your visit, please review the following information to ensure you have everything you need before you arrive.
Independent Check-In Process
To make your arrival as easy as possible, we offer a convenient self-check-in process:
Check-In Time: From 3:00 PM onwards
Check-Out Time: By 11:00 AM
Room Categories: Each rental is categorized by color. A color-coded place card will be on the cabin’s front door. For example: the Bend Recreation Lodge is categorized by the color teal, just look for the teal place card. Our simple system helps guide you to your cabin so you can start your relaxing stay.

Host Availability: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (If you arrive outside these hours, you will complete check-in independently; instructions for self-check-in will be sent to you before your arrival).
Directions and Parking: If you can’t find the address, add or remove the space between White Christ when using Google or Apple Maps. We offer complimentary self-parking for our guests. Each cabin has its private driveway for convenient parking. Simply park in front of your cabin upon arrival. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need assistance finding your way.
During Your Stay Cleaning: Please note that there is no mid-stay cleaning service. Contact us during our host hours if you require additional towels or other necessities.
Meals: All meals are self-catered. Each cabin has a full kitchen for your convenience. We provide some basic spices, but you will need to bring or purchase your own groceries.
Coffee and Tea: All units have complimentary coffee makers and a limited selection of coffee and tea.
Amenities: The resort’s facilities and amenities are exclusively available to HGW Resort guests.
Directions From Eugene Airport
There are two ways to get to Gilchrist from Eugene. HWY 58, or HWY 126. (HWY 126 is a scenic route)
Using HWY 126 (183 miles)

- Take Airport Rd to OR-99 S/State Hwy 99 N in Eugene. (2.4 mi)
- Continue on OR-99 S/State Hwy 99 N to Franklin Blvd. (10 mi)
- Follow OR-126 E to US-20 E in Linn County. (73.3 mi)
- Follow US-20 E and US-97 S to White Christ Dr in Crescent. (96.9 mi)
- Continue on White Christ Dr to your destination. (Our Resort will be on your Right)
Using HWY 58 (103 mile)

- Take OR-58 to Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway/Crescent Cutoff Rd/NF-61 in Crescent. (87.5 mi)
- Follow Crescent Cutoff Rd to US-97 N (12 mi)
- Turn left onto US-97 N (.9 mi)
- Continue on White Christ Dr to your destination. (Our Resort will be on your Left)
Directions From Redmond Airport
Via US-97 S (62.8 miles)

- Continue straight to stay on Jesse Butler Cir

- Turn left onto the ramp to Bend
- Follow US-97 S to White Christ Dr in Crescent. (59.9 mi)
- Merge onto US-97 S
- Slight left onto US-97
- Continue on White Christ Dr to your destination.
